The Amala Method Meditative yoga, Energy Healing, Intuitive Coaching

During her freshman year of college, Sarah Amala held her aunt’s hand and with awe and wonder she observed her aunt’s spirit leave her body. It was in this moment that she realized she had the ability to see and understand energy in a unique way. It took many years to accept and then to begin to integrate these abilities into her life but in the past five years she has devoted herself to the study and application of metaphysical energies.
Fusing her training as a yoga instructor, Reiki master, holistic health coach, and psychic intuitive, she has developed a method of healing that allows for a person to begin to unfold their own innate healing abilities.
Sarah believes strongly in the magic of having and supporting community. The more we realize how similar our stories are, the less alone we feel — and that is when the real healing can take place.
Erica Jo Shaffer
Energy Work, Sound Healing, Gardening, Memorial Landscape Design

Erica Jo started this part of her journey around 10 years ago when she was attuned to Reiki, then soon after Reiki Master, while starting studies in Shamanic experiences and healing techniques. It was like a huge door opened filled with wonder and her curiosity to explore.
She deepened her Shamanic aspects by attending multiple workshops and retreats created by the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. She began to incorporate more sound tools (drumming, rattles, singing bowls, etc) in the sessions she was giving.
Her next opportunity was to study with the Institute of Modern Wisdom, joining the Priestess program. This deepened both her awe and ever evolving relationship with Consciousness, the Universe, the Goddess. She began regularly leading Sacred Mystic Circles, a gathering with a theme intention to inspire the participants, and to explore the edges of what we believe we know.
This winter she plans to attend Amrit Yoga Institute, to learn to facilitate Yoga Nidra sessions. In her “day job” she has worked 30 years at Highland Gardens in Camp Hill as the Nursery Manager, and Plant Expert.
Erica Jo is excited to bring her special method of energy work and sound healing sessions to enrich your experience and bring beauty and relief in our end of life journeys. She is also adept at maintaining gardens and memorial landscape design.
